Bohonomad was founded in 2013 in Marmaris, one of Turkey's popular tourist destinations.

Since then, Bohonomad sandals have received great admiration from retailers and customers alike for their comfort and quality. Completely vegan, they follow an eco-friendly and sustainable production approach, and are all handmade by Turkish women.

Out of a sense of social responsibility, the company produces its sandals by prioritizing the employment of women who did not have stable and continuous jobs in their previous lives, and by providing them with good working conditions in a healthy environment and health insurance.
